Carolyne is committed to the protection of the natural world

April 2024

Carolyne visited a farm in Hungerford to meet the owner and an ecologist from the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust, to see the work that is being done there to help wildlife, including wildflower meadows and woodland glades for butterflies.

Carolyne used to work for BBOWT as Media and Campaigns Manager. She is currently the chairman of Snelsmore Common Management Board. On 6 June she will be attending the general election hustings that BBOWT is holding at Burghfield Village Hall.

On 18 April Carolyne attended an event at the Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys to hear about their plans to renovate and expand their site. It was inspiring to hear from young people who have participated in the educational programmes offered by the Trust for Sustainable Living which runs the centre.
